Floyd Mayweather v Conor McGregor: Six realistic ways the fight could play out – talkSPORT Opinion
In the build-up, Floyd Mayweather has claimed he’s going to attack Conor McGregor and that this “can’t be a defensive fight”. Mayweather has alluded he wants to make amends with fans following the Manny Pacquiao PPV let down and, if he means it, then an early KO is a real possibility.
Whether you like the fight or not, you’re probably going to be watching Floyd Mayweather v Conor McGregor this coming Saturday, 26 August.
Anybody who watches boxing even semi-regularly is going into this bout knowing it’s not going to be competitive, but personally it’s still really intriguing to me, because I have no idea what’s going to happen when the first bell rings!
Don’t misunderstand me, I know who’s going to win – that goes without saying. What I mean is I have no idea how Floyd Mayweather is going to do it. I don’t know what Conor McGregor will bring, I don’t know what game plan either fighter is going implement and I don’t know how seriously they’re both taking the fight. They could both be happy to do their bit, take their massively oversized pay cheques and get out of there.
However, I do think it’s definitely going to go one of these following six ways, or perhaps as a combination of a couple of them mixed together.
