Week 30 Captain Picks
Game Week 30 Captain Picks
This week, our captain picks are not all totally conventional, with at least one falling outside the top 3 of most fans. That’s okay though, we’re #1 for fantasy football for a reason and if you stick with us, we’re sure it will pay off. Obviously for most leagues, it’s really getting to crunch time and arriving to that point where if you fall too far behind the leader it becomes tough to catch. Hopefully our members are the ones thinking about how far ahead they can get though though 🙂
Many top players, including the most in form scorer in the league (Harry Kane) are not playing this weekend which makes some elements of choosing a captain harder, and some more easy.
On that note, let’s take a glance at our top 3 captain picks for this week.
GW30 Captain Pick No. 3: Sergio Aguero
We just think this is going to be a bit of a goal fest and even though it’s true that Aguero has hardly been setting the world alight of late, an extremely leaky Gunners defence may well be the place to put that right. Of course it’s not been all bad for Sergio, after a very tough run of 5 games without scoring, he’s now scores 2 in 3 and is beginning to look imperious again. We’re throwing our weight behind him and we really do expect to see his name on the scoresheet. Start him as captain with confidence.
GW30 Captain Pick No. 2: Jamie Vardy
Oh how very fickle the world of FPL is. Virtually written off as a one season wonder only a month ago, now he’s back into the lofty heights of 2nd in our captain rankings. For a start 3 goals and 2 assists in 3 games are stats that speak for themselves. Take this reality and pair it with a home game to Stoke and a riled up Leicester crowd and you’d have to say Vardy is as likely to light up as any other player this week. It goes without saying that Vardy can’t keep up this form indefinitely but part of winning Fantasy Premier League is knowing when to ride with the form guy.
