#MadPick: Gameweek 30
International break is finally over and it feels like a year since we witnessed a Gameweek unfold. The home stretch is going to need some luck but also some planning to get through. Also, as usual, it’s going to need some differentials to make a difference for your team and that’s why I am here weekly.
For any first time readers, I give you here my top two differentials, players with some good fixtures and an ownership of less than 5%. The MadHM is an honorable mention to a player who I almost picked and the MadPick which is my top pick for the week.
Last week, Januzaj, the MadPick, and Christian Benteke, the honorable mention, have both failed to get any FPL return. Fingers crossed that this week’s pick break the recent bad run.
The honorable mention for the week was a must-have last season for an inspiring Leicester City. However, this year, as has his team, he has been underwhelming but with things seemingly back on track for the Foxes, I am tipping Christian Fuchs to be a very good FPL asset in the next few weeks. At £5.2m and 4.9% ownership, he’s the MadHM for Gameweek 30.
This week’s MadPick has been a bit hit or miss over the last couple of seasons but he seems to be in good form and has been vital for Southampton recently. Dusan Tadic, the Serbian international has all the FPL qualities you want in a player in your team. He’s on penalties, dead balls and is often explosive in terms of points. On top of that, he’s been in great form scoring a goal and 3 assists in the last 3 league matches.
With two Double Gameweeks coming up (dates not announced yet) and quite the favorable fixtures ahead of him with Bournemouth at home, Crystal Palace at home and West Brom away in his next 3 fixtures. At £7.0m and a 1.9% ownership, he’s the MadPick for Gameweek 30.
