#MadPick: Gameweek 28
After a disappointing first double gameweek, we head into a blank gameweek where 12 teams are not playing. Although, I don’t think fielding 11 players is necessary, I think if you gamble on the right players, quality will prevail over quantity.
Last week, the MadHM, Martin Olsson scored a goal and bagged a total of 7 points. Ramadan Sobhi, the MadPick, has played the full 180 mins of the two games and bagged 5 points. I think both are still viable differential cheap options that you should consider for your team especially as Swansea are one of the aforementioned teams with no blank.
This week’s honorable mention is a guy who has beenon fire for the last few weeks but has been criminally overlooked. Joshua King from Bournemouth At £5.5m and 3.5% ownership has recently been Bournemouth’s main threat, penalty taker and the main goal source. He’s scored 5 goals in his last 6 league matches. He’s proven himself to be a good FPL asset and is currently a great differential. He’s the #MadHM for Gameweek 28.
My #MadPick for the week has always been known as a lethal striker. Although his injury record is bad but back to fitness he’s worth the gamble this week. Andy Carroll has been my MadPick previously this season in GW16 but unfortunately failed to deliver. This week, I think he can be easily the top scorer in the 4 matches and he’s definitely worth the gamble. At just 3.2% ownership, £6.2m and Bournemouth, Leicester and Hull next, he’s this week’s #MadPick.
